Look here, you dummy, you posted a joke where the guy asks his boss to leave early and the boss says no. Then the guy thanks the boss as if he actually expected that answer, see? He was making fun of the boss's predictably stingy attitude by pretending he expected the opposite. It's a classic example of irony because the guy says something that is obviously the opposite of what he really means or feels. You get it now? No? You're hopeless.
