Last year, in March, I had to take a difficult test in my favorite subject (German). And I got a 3.4, even though I studied and was well prepared. When I got the test back I was really angry but of course I had to have my mother sign it as a duty. But you didn't have to hand it in, the teacher said you can keep the test as long as you don't make toys out of it. And then I put the test in the cupboard to look at it again and again, even if I found the 3.4 bad, of course. The test sat in a drawer in the closet for a year and ended up being a pretty useless thing just sitting around getting dusty. A year later, almost two months ago, I read the post about burning school supplies in a forum and I immediately had the idea of putting this test and maybe a few other tests on a public barbecue area and waiting for someone it burns as it would be a nice way to get rid of the stuff as I'd hate to throw it in the trash. Unfortunately, that moment hasn't come yet, so I cut up some of the test into very small snippets and put them in an envelope. Today I went to my favorite meadow and scattered the snippets there. At least I got rid of it somehow, but what to do with the other tests I don't know yet. I would actually like to burn everything and then maybe keep some ashes to remember. But until someone goes to the barbecue area to grill something on the campfire, I have to be patient.
