Böses Internetgerücht verbreitet sich rasant
Für Internethacker scheint es ein großer Spaß zu sein, den Tod von Stars zu verbreiten. Neuestes Opfer: Johnny Depp. Vor allem in Frankreich kursiert das Gerücht, wonach der 'Fluch der Karibik'-Star gestorben sein. Der Internet-Hoax verbreitete sich mit rasanter Geschwindigkeit.
Geschwindigkeit soll dann auch der Grund seines Todes gewesen sein. Angeblich sei der Schauspieler bei einem schweren Autounfall ums Leben gekommen. Alkohol sei im Spiel gewesen.
Ein Link zu einer gefälschten CNN-Website, wo man Fotos von dem Unfall sehen konnte, entpuppte sich als üble Virenfalle.
Wer nämlich darauf klickte, war selbst der Depp und fing sich einen sogenannten Trojaner ein. Eine Art Spionagesoftware, die sich unbemerkt auf dem eigenen PC installiert und dort persönliche Daten sammelt, weiterleitet oder zerstört.
Aber der US-Schauspieler selbst gab amüsiert Entwarnung: "Ich bin noch am Leben und mir geht es gut", lässt er verlauten. Sein Sprecher Robin Baum sagt: "Es geht ihm gut".
Depp ist nicht der einzige, der Opfer eines solch bösen Internetgerüchts wurde. Schon vor ihm wurden Stars wie Taylor Lautner, Britney Spears oder Miley Cyrus für tot erklärt.
